The Old Rectory Hotel - Spixworth

The stay was absolutely good! Everything was really good, personnel was amicable. Its location was stunning, not far from Norwich as well as Bewilderwood. Stayed at an airy room with view of the garden area and coffee table plus cupboard.

The room was modern and heated, provided us with coffee table and the bedroom. An electric kettle and glassware worked well. The food was excellent and the location was stunning.

Consider requesting a room on an upper floor for added security and peace of mind during your stay.

Just an ideal choice for a date night in Spixworth with reasonable value. Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful, with mixed berries available. Consider asking for a ground floor room if mobility is an issue.

great pool but limited evening choices

The swimming pool was great for my children and heated so they could enjoy it comfortably. Breakfast had a good selection of items ordered directly , made for a lovely start to the day.

While the morning meals were excellent the choices for dinner were a bit limited.

The outdoor pool was fantastic, heated too! The garden was lovely, perfect for a stroll. Loved the cozy room and the excellent meal we had in the restaurant.

The room had a lovely, spacious layout with a cozy corner perfect for relaxation. The gardens surrounding the hotel are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff were accommodating, offering extra eggs at breakfast and allowing us a later checkout .

The furniture in the dining area felt a bit outdated.

The hotel is close to Norwich. The festive meal was delicious, combined with a glass of prosecco. Breakfast had something for everyone, and the staff were super friendly. Perfect for groups!

One thing that could be improved is the lounge area. It felt a bit lacking for socializing. A cozy spot to hang out would be nice.

The check in staff were friendly and cute. The dinner was good, and i was impressed by how the chef customized my hollandaise sauce just the way i liked it. The location is also great, close to bewilderwood, perfect for a fun outing. A cozy place with attentive service.

The room furniture looks quite dated and, frankly, a bit worn out, which doesn't. The breakfast experience could use some serious improvement. Tables and chairs were cleared away too early for an event, leaving us and others feeling rushed and unwelcome. Old carpets in common areas contribute to an overall sense of neglect in upkeep.
